"Our mission is to simplify the moment of getting dress every morning, by creating those quality pieces that look impecable everyday and are so easy to wear that fit perfectly into the modern women wardrobe and lifestyle" - Adriana Poveda
Bel cashmere story begins in 2012 when Adriana and her husband Alfonso travelled to Mongolia and discovered world´s best cashmere.
"On that trip we made to get to know Mongolia, I took the opportunity to buy a couple of cashmere sweaters and I realized that I had never had garments of such quality. I thought it would be wonderful to be able to create with that cashmere a collection of basic and timeless garments but with a current style. And so began Bel cashmere.
Since then, our obsession has been creating pieces with a great style, extreme quality and impecable fit"
The brand currently sells its products around the world through its website and through multi-brand stores in several countries.
OUR CASHMERE
We make our garments with world´s best cashmere
Coming from the hair of a peculiar type of goat that lives in extremely cold climates, the cashmere is one of the rarest and most precious natural fibers in the world.
Beside its scarcity, cashmere is a fiber greatly valued for its extreme softness, its lightness and for being an excellent insulator, is warm in winter and cool in spring.
Not all cashmere has the same quality.
The essential elements when assessing the quality of this material are its fineness, length and natural color (natural white cashmere).
Garments made with long and thin fibers pill less and maintain their shape better than lower quality cashmere and will get better with each wash.
Cashmere fineness runs from about 14 microns to 19 microns. The lower the number the thinner the fiber and the softer it feels.
100% Mongolian Cashmere
Due to its geographical location and its extreme climatic conditions, the cashmere of Mongolia is the thinest, longest and softest of the world. This makes it an exquisite fiber from ancient times, known as “fibre of Kings”.
